Me and my boring life

My life is incredibly boring. Boring, boring, BORING. Every week’s the same routine. Monday school, Tuesday school …and yada yada. The only things that add a little ‘variety’ to my life are the occasional (or not-so-occasional) exams, tests, presentations. Things I don’t really appreciate, thank-you-very-much. Even yoga, something that I really enjoy, has become part of my weekly schedule. Of course, that’s not a bad thing, but what I’m concerned about is the fact that nothing changes, nothing deviates.

Blogging is something I do when I want to rant about the monotony of my life. If I can do nothing to change the schedule-like manner in which it operates, I might as well accept while providing myself a room to complain about it.

Yes, complaining can make life a little more bearable.

See, right now, I’m supposed to be studying for my bloddy database test on Tuesday but I’m on the verge of falling asleep. And I want to stay awake because I haven’t gotten much into my brain. And yet, REALLY don’t want to.

Blog Overdose

Oh man, judging from the no. of blog entries I’ve been making these past few days, I think I’ve been spending wayyy too much time online. I think I’m going to start cutting down my online time next week after my stupid database exam is done. =(

Neglect

Awful… I’ve been neglecting blogger as you can tell. Rather busy of late. Yesterday I finally managed to take time to update my Squaresoft Repository website. Kind of shabby writing but I thought I should put something up to satisfy the visitors for the time being while I sort the rest of my life out. On a good note, I’m going for my old junior college’s fun fair tomorrow. Should be fun.

15 mins before lecture

It’s 15 mins before my first lecture. I’m at the school’s computer lab at the moment. Earlier, I had breakfast at with my mom and dad. Because my lecture on starts at 10AM, my dad dropped me off at the Arts faculty where I popped into the library to check out some novels. I borrowed Arthur Clarke’s The City and the Stars as well as Asimov’s I, Robot. The books are kind of yellowed and spotty, and a little dusty too. They smell…I don’t want to smell them. The Clarke book was printed in 1975 and the Asimov book in 1983. Strange, I’ve Raymond Feist’s 2nd Edition Magician at home, which I believe was in 1983, but it doesn’t look half as bad as the Asimov book. Oh well.

It appears that blogger’s publishing facility is down. So I guess this blog won’t get to appear until I get home. It’s now 5 mins before the lecture. I’m not feeling too good. A sense of dread maybe?

The blogger's all right

Looks like the blogger’s (har har) all right. Just need to iron out some formatting bugs and then it’ll finally look presentable.

New Discovery: Weblogs

I’ve just discovered this cool semi-automatic logbook thingy powered by Blogger.com. It turns out you don’t need to do any programming (which my webhost barely supports =/… bad, bad, Yahoo ) to set up a easy-to-publish log page. That means there’s no need for Dreamweaver, wordpad, notepad to update my newly-set-up logbook (other than the basic formatting of course).

So right now, I’m setting up the page. I’ve no idea if everything is going to work perfectly or not. But I’ll let you know if it does.
