Just found another 2 interesting Led Zeppelin video clips. These form a complete pro-recorded Earls Court 1975 Stairway to Heaven that didn’t make into the official DVD:

…which is a pity because it contains one of my favourite Stairway to Heaven solos ever. Luis Rey (Led Zeppelin Live: An Ilustrated Exploration of Underground Tapes) described it as “perhaps the best live version of Stairway to Heaven ever to be recorded”.

Anyway since the transcoded audio quality of the YouTube video isn’t exactly the most flattering, I’ve decided to put up a copy of the audio recording here (as well as experiment with the cool Drupal Audio module at the same time):

While on the subject of favourite Stairway to Heaven’s, I think Offenburg, Germany, 1973 takes the lead, with ( if I remember correctly offhand) Dragon Slayer’77 a step behind. Will post audio clips of those next time.
