Umm…this picture isn’t quite complete yet… Sketched it on paper then coloured with PS but never got round to completing it the way I wanted it to look. But I think I’ve spent too much time on it. So here it is:

This picture is based off a photograph of Kate Hudson in the Sept 2000 issue of Vanity Fair (same issue as the ‘Golden Child’ art). I first drew a sketch on a piece of paper, then I scanned it in and coloured it with Photoshop 6.0.

Golden Child

This Kate Hudson picture was made using a scan of the cover of the Sept 2000 issue of Vanity Fair. First I decolourised the original photograph. Then I had to carefully remove the magazine text from the scan using Adobe Photoshop.

After recolouring the photograph, I used some highlights effects and blended the picture with a scan of a Chinese painting.

Note: the actual date of completion of this picture is not clear

Stardust

The Natalie Portman photograph used for this picture was taken from a scan of a page from Vanity Fair. What I did was to decolourise the photograph, leaving only the background in its original form. Then I smoothened the photograph and recoloured the picture. After that, I used some filters to make the background more painting-like. Finally, with some highlight effects, I blended the two sections merged them to form the picture.
