Moving to Sydney
As some of you already know, I will be taking up a Master in Commerce course in Sydney that would last 18 months. The course will commence mid-July. Exciting and a bit scary at the same time. I’m quite attached to my family and have never been away from them for more than a month before. I guess it’s time I became more independent. In the last month I’ve been (re)learning how to cook (pasta, sweet sour pork, chicken with sesame sauce etc.)— a basic need for survival! There’ll be other things I’ll have to give up too, such as weekly Japanese/pilates classes, having beer and nice dinners with my drinking pal, random shopping online (budget, budget!), unlimited internet downloads (Heroes 720p) and the luxury of not having any homework to do. ORZ. So what do I hope to get out of this financial drain on my pocket is obviously the hope to make more moola in the long run in a field that I have immense interest in (finance/investments). I never really worked very hard in NUS (except for the programming projects) so this is a chance to make up for it.

Hi panzergrenadier, thanks
Hi panzergrenadier, thanks for the comment. My Mandarin is awful too and I can’t remember how to write Kanji very well (typing on PC and writing on paper are completely different things) but Japanese is really fun and at least I don’t get picked on sounding like an Ang Moh speaking Chinese because the expectations are different =)
